Philip travels to Switzerland this week to take part in the Credit-Suisse Gold Pro-Am, a prequel to the Omega European Masters at Crans Montana in the Swiss Alps. It's a golden opportunity for golf-mad Philip to partner up with a pro and pit his wits against a world class field on a world class course. More.
Woody's film premieres at Cannes
Woody Allen's latest offering was generally well received at this year's Cannes Film Festival. 'You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger' is, once again, set in London and has been described as "a throwback to his late 80s ensemble pieces, most akin to Hannah and Her Sisters, following two couples facing life's grimmest realities". Anthony Hopkins, Antonio Banderas, Gemma Jones, Freda Pinto, Naomi Watts and Josh Brolin star. Glenister and Simm reunited in a new 4 part drama for Sky TV
Filming is complete on Mad Dogs, a new Sky1 HD drama serial starring Philip, John Simm, Max Beesley and Marc Warren.
Mad Dogs centres around the reunion of a group of old friends on the sunny Spanish island of Majorca. However their trip doesn't turn out as planned and before long everything begins to go terribly wrong.
Philip says about Mad Dogs, "I was looking forward to working with three of the best actors on the small screen, but they weren't available so I'll have to make do with John, Marc and Max. It’s going to be a blast and hopefully we will come up with four hours of great TV drama." More
